On 11 October 2023, Belvedere Leisure Resorts Plc (the “Company”) commenced proceedings in the English High Court against Apple Invest Limited (“Apple”). The Company subsequently obtained an injunction against Apple and its sole director, Mr Andrew Anderson on 23 January 2024. The proceedings and injunction concerned, amongst other things, Apple’s and Mr Anderson’s dealings with the two sites in Scotland subject to a joint venture agreement between the Company and Apple known as Barncrosh and Barnsoul and agreements that Apple had entered into with investors in respect of the same two sites.

We understand that Apple has now entered administration. The Company has been made aware that Apple and/or Mr Anderson may have entered into a number of purported contracts with investors on behalf of the Company. Mr Anderson has never been a director or employee of the Company and has no authority to enter into agreements on behalf the Company.

We also understand that Landal Belvedere Developments Ltd has recently written to investors in connection with the Barncrosh and Barnsoul sites. Landal Belvedere Developments Ltd is a company owned and controlled by Mr Anderson. It is not connected to the Company. 

The Company’s investigations are ongoing and in the meantime should anyone have a query regarding an investment in respect of the sites known as Barncrosh and Barnsoul they should contact the administrators of Apple, Sandra MacAlister and Simon Barriball of McAlister & Co Insolvency Practitioners Ltd.
